He also serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the Peace Officers’ Annuity and Benefit Fund of Georgia, Magistrates Retirement Fund of Georgia, and the Superior Court Clerk's Retirement Fund of Georgia. Additionally, he serves as a trustee on the Employee Retirement System of Georgia Board and as a member of the Georgia State Indemnification Commission.

He previously served in leadership roles for the GA Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency, GA Department of Corrections and the GA Department of Natural Resources. He was formerly a deputy with the Ware County Sheriff's Office.
