Judge Daughtrey serves as the Probate Judge of Cook County since 2009. He was previously a field representative to U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson and the deputy chief of staff to Majority Leader Jerry Keen. Daughtrey sits on the board of trustees for Tift Regional Heath System and Renasant Bank in Valdosta and was previously the president of the Council of Probate Court Judges.

He has two children and they reside in Lenox, GA
